AboutUs.html It’s not about us.  It’s about you and your friends.

Somewhere is a place to keep up with what your friends are doing online, wherever they are--blogs, photo sites, social networks, chat, wishlists.  Whatever.

How much time do you spend checking around the internet to see what’s new with your friends, family and co-workers?  They have accounts on Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, AIM, eBay, blogs and hundreds of other sites.  You have to remember which ones to check.  And often there’s nothing new.  Or you get all these annoying email reminders every time a friend posts a new set of photos.

Does this sound familiar?

Wouldn’t you like to know what your friend’s have posted recently without worrying about where they posted it?  Or what their IM status or mood is now?

The Somewhere Friend Viewer shows you, from your existing browser home page, what your friends are up to right now.  When someone posts a new message or photo, or they change their IM status, you see a brief summary.  Click on it for more details and to go right to the source.

Somewhere also lets you tell the world what you are up to.  If someone asks you “where can I find you online”, that’s a tough question.  You probably have a blog, one or more social network pages, a wishlist, chat account or others.  So put the Somewhere Me Viewer on your blog, Facebook or any other page.  This shows visitors what else you are up to (photo sites, chat, contact managers).  And it’s under your control.  You decide who sees what.

Our goal is to keep Somewhere easy to use for you and your friends.  Over the next few months as we roll out new features to make Somewhere even more useful, we’ll post the latest news to our blog.

If you have ideas for Somewhere we’d love to hear them.  You can join our discussion forum, or contact us.

Oh, and of course, you can learn more about our team Somewhere.
