About me:
I am formerly a trainee attorney at one of Africa's largest corporate and commercial law firms. I firmly believe that diligence and excellence are the cornerstone of a successful legal career. Having graduated first in my class for my undergraduate degree and with first class honours for my law degree, these are attributes which I hold dearly. As a trainee lawyer, I gained experience in fast-paced corporate and commercial litigation, which though very diverse, had a focus on mining law, environmental law and land law. This experience sharpened my drafting and administrative skills. I also gained experience drafting commercial agreements which include memoranda of incorporations, board and shareholder resolutions for Africa's largest corporates. I excelled in both practices. I am passionate about the law and have published academic text with Cambridge University. In my spare time, I run, write short stories and read. My latest short story was published by South Africa-based Karavan Press. What separates me from other candidates is my grit. I am multi-skilled and have excelled in all avenues which I have pursued. I am dedicated to learning and growing and firmly believe that I would be an asset to you and your team.
