About me:
I am returning to work after a career break post-covid which I used to travel and visit family overseas. During my travel breaks, I worked in the Real Estate and Hospitality Industries (in-between jobs), before returning to my family in the South of Spain where I was studied Spanish language this year.
Prior to the pandemic, I worked in the legal industry, first as an article clerk in a medium sized law firm in Cape Town, practicing civil litigation law, and later as a legal advisor in a consulting firm which provided legal outsourcing services (contract review) to UK based businesses in a variety of industries (finance, logistics, broadcasting, construction, to name just a few). This legal consulting job taught me an invaluable number of skills that allowed me to transition easily to remote work when the pandemic hit. However, at the time I was dealing with a sudden death in the family and needed to take some time out. I now find myself yearning to enter again into more stimulating work. I am ingrained with a love of organization and regularity and have a deep-set instinct to target bottle-necks in process with a view to improving system flows which would be an asset to my employer.
